Tanzania top tourist attractions
It is arguably Tanzania offers a wide range of tourist destinations, but We have only highlighted the top tourists destinations
1: Ngorongoro Crater

With its breathtaking backdrop, the Ngorongoro Crater is the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. The perfect way to start your African safari adventure. But as one of the world's most amazing and well-known natural wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater is very busy, sometimes very busy. Due to crowds we recommend staying 2 nights here before moving to the Serengeti for a quieter and more private safari experience. A safari in Northern Tanzania should ideally include a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater. This is one of the most beautiful natural safari sites in the world and a special place to interact with the Maasai people. Ngorongoro Crater and the surrounding highlands together form one of the most beautiful regions in Africa. Volcanic craters provide a spectacular backdrop to some of Africa's most fertile and rich rangelands. The most famous of these craters is undoubtedly Ngorongoro. It is the world's largest intact volcanic crater and home to Africa's densest Big Game. Ngorongoro is one of the continent's most famous safari destinations.
2: Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. The Park is a World Heritage Site rich in wildlife. More than 2 million ungulates, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and about 500 bird species cover an area of nearly 15,000 square kilometres. Take a safari and explore the endless Serengeti plains dotted with trees and kopjes where majestic lions rule the kingdom. Marvel at migrations or spot the elusive leopard in the riverside forest. Or, get a bird's eye view and soar over the prairie at sunrise during a hot air balloon safari. There are accommodations in all price ranges, and the nightly Lion Roar is free.
3: Mount Kilimanjaro

Located in Tanzania, Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa’s tallest mountain at about 5,895 meters (19,340 feet). It is the largest free-standing mountain rise in the world, meaning it is not part of a mountain range. The mountain is made up of three peaks which are Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. Kibo is the summit of the mountain and the tallest of the three volcanic formations. While Mawenzi and Shira are extinct. If you are an adventure lover this is the place to quench your thirst.
4: Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park has one of the highest elephant densities in all of Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation dotted with baobab and acacia trees makes it a beautiful and unique place to visit. Tarangire is just a few hours' drive from the city of Arusha and is a popular stop for those travelling on Northern safari circuits en route to Ngorongoro or the Serengeti. The park is divided into two wildlife control areas, and wild animals are allowed to roam freely within it.
Herds of gazelles, wildebeests, zebras and giraffes migrate into the scrub plains of Tarangire National Park, where the last grazing lands remain before the rains arrive. Tarangire offers unparalleled wildlife viewing, with elephants plentiful during the dry season. The pachyderm family plays around the ancient trunk of the baobab tree and strips the acacia bark from the thorn tree for an afternoon meal. Breathtaking views of the Maasai grasslands and mountains to the south make your stopover in Tarangire an unforgettable experience.
5: Zanzibar Island

The Zanzibar archipelago in the Indian Ocean, 24 kilometres off the coast of Tanzania, is a wonderful escape from the world. Enjoy the clear turquoise water. A shallow sandbar ideal for swimming. And many small, mostly uninhabited islands that tourists don't really visit. Explore the World Heritage Site of Stone Town, the old town of Zanzibar City. Or just walk from beach to beach among small fishing villages. One is better than the other. This is the perfect destination for honeymoon and family trips, and for those who will like to enjoy swimming and spending time on the beaches enjoying African sunshine.

Tanzania has three international airports, but Kilimanjaro International Airport is the most common entry point for Safaris in Tanzania famous national parks and Mount Kilimanjaro trekking. There are two ways you can acquire Visa to Tanzania
1. The Electronic Tourist Visa (eVisa) which we highly recommend, tourists, can apply through eservices.immigration.go.tz/visa

We recommend wearing clothes that are comfortable and made of natural, breathable fabrics. Plan to layer up or down as the weather changes. Try your best to avoid black, navy blue, and other dark colours as they tend to attract insects.
Tanzania Safaris looks expensive compared to other countries like Kenya and it is mainly due to park fees and Permits. Visiting the most renowned national parks in Tanzania like Serengeti and Ngorongoro you will incur extra charges which you won't be charged in any Kenya Safari destination. Spending a single night in Serengeti comes with a $71 concession fee charge, while a single visit to Ngorongoro crater will cost you an extra $295 per car per day.
