Kenya top tourist attractions

It is arguably Kenya offers a wide range of tourist destinations, but We have only highlighted the top tourists destinations

1: Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara

The 1510 square kilometer Masai Mara National Reserve in south-west Kenya is a beautiful stretch of gently rolling African savannah grasslands that borders Tanzania's Serengeti National Park to the south. Masai Mara is renowned for its incredible natural diversity of animals and is also a prominent Kenya Safari spot in East Africa, giving tourists many reasons to visit this animal paradise. It is a special place dedicated to wildlife protection. The park is home to numerous lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, African buffalo, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, and many other creatures that are free to roam in their natural habitat and in large numbers.
So it comes as no surprise that visitors from all over the world visit this place. Not the least of which is that the reserve has been selected as one of the world's new seven wonders. The word "Masai" derives from the Maasai tribe, who were nomadic residents of the region, and the word "Mara" is their word for "spotted," which refers to the common flat-topped acacia trees, shrubs, and bushes that are present throughout most of the reserve.

2: Tsavo national park

Tsavo national park

One of the most moving sights in Africa is the sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling, and splashing each other with the midnight blue waters of the palm-fringed Galana River. This makes for an excursion unlike any other in the Tsavo East, together with the 300 kilometer-long Yatta Plateau, the largest lava flow in the world. The park is the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to many large mammals, including large herds of red elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions, and leopards as well as pods of hippopotamuses, crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudus, and gerenuks. The park also supports a thriving bird population with 500 known species.

3: Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park

One of Kenya's most well-known parks is the Amboseli National Parks, which is crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. One of the best spots in Africa to see big herds of elephants up close is Amboseli, which is a Maasai word that means "salty dust." Here, nature enthusiasts can discover five distinct habitats, including the dried-up lake bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulfur springs, savannah, and woods. They can also go to the nearby Maasai community to experience the real Maasai way of life.

4: Mombasa Beach

Mombasa Beach

Dip your feet into the soft white sand as you watch the soothing waves lapping onto Mombasa's shores. The aquamarine waters of the Indian Ocean stretching as far as the eye can see, meeting baby blue skies on the horizon. Like the breeze in the palm trees, our soothing cocktails will refresh your soul. The Mombasa coast melts away all worries and rejuvenates body, mind and spirit. Oreteti Safari Africa specializes in beach and island tours on the north and south coasts of Mombasa. Whether you're looking for water sports, complete secludedness, or proximity to famous attractions, we can help you find the perfect vacation. For those who prefer a popular coastal location close to Mombasa's Central District island, with large resorts and hotels, we recommend the Mombasa North Coast Beach.
