Southern Tanzania Safari: Explore the Heart of Africa

On the first day of your Southern Tanzania Safari, you will arrive at Dar es Salaam airport and meet your driver. Your driver will transfer you to the Ramada Beach Resort for dinner and overnight.

On day 2 of your Southern Tanzania Safari, you will drive for 6 hours to Selous Game Reserve, one of Africa's oldest and wildest protected areas. After checking in to your camp, you will embark on a 4x4 game drive in an open-sided safari vehicle with a picnic lunch. You will spend the afternoon exploring the Selous Game Reserve, seeing a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and many more. In the evening, you will enjoy an evening walk safari along the Selous wilderness.

You will set off early in the morning in a 4x4 safari vehicle and spend the day exploring the park. You will have the opportunity to see some of the park's most iconic animals, such as lions lounging in the shade of a tree, cheetahs hunting for prey, and wild dogs running in packs. You may even be lucky enough to see a herd of elephants crossing the river.

Ruaha National Park is known for its exceptional predator sightings, and you are likely to see a wide variety of big cats during your game drive.
