7-Day Affordable Zanzibar Beach Vacation

Arrive at Zanzibar airport/ harbor and transfer to Stone Town Hotel for check-in. You will be met by our company representative at the airport, and after greetings and a short briefing you will be transferred to your accommodation for relaxation dinner and overnight.

We'll start the day at the aquarium, which is located at the northernmost point of Zanzibar near the lighthouse, where we will see how the sea turtles are preserved, treated, and kept until released once a year. Then we will take a stroll to see the fish market and how to build the local dhow boats. We will continue to the beautiful stalactites caves, with natural springs and swimming pools in them. We will spend some time swimming in the caves and the rays of light that enter the cave and illuminate the transparent water greatly enhance the beautiful experience! We will visit the ruins of a historic building built by the Portuguese in the 15th century, near the caves. In the afternoon go to get lunch at Villa Kiva boutique hotel along Matemwa beach After that, we will visit a very authentic local village, meet the charming local residents and children, see and learn about their simple way of life, and how to live without modern means.

Later on, go to an isolated quiet, and calm beach, eat fruits and stay on the beach as much as you wish.

Self-driving with modern 4*4 motorbikes, a Canadian brand (the best quality that can be found on the island). The trip starts from the stunning beach in Kiwengwa on the east side of the island. On our way through 2 local villages, we will see and learn about their simple and modest way of life. We visit beautiful sugar cane plantations. (Option: visit a magical local cave with an extra $5).

Our tour includes a lot of space travel so come in appropriate clothes and in a good mood. We will provide you with soft drinks and snacks during the tour. At the end of the tour, you are invited to stay on the beach and enjoy hammocks and wonderful turquoise water typical of the eastern coast of Zanzibar.  

What to bring: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and comfortable shoes, and most importantly his driving license or photo.

The spice of Zanzibar is home to some of the best big game and deep-sea fishing opportunities in the Indian Ocean. This deep-sea fishing in Zanzibar is located at the northern tip of Nungwi, a fishing village, which is the fishing grounds of Zanzibar, We fish by trolling a combination of lures or natural dead baits (Ballyhoo or strips) or live bait. The well-equipped and catered sports fishing boats and resourceful crews will ensure your absolute enjoyment out on the water. Billfish such as Striped, Black, and Blue Marlin as well as the acrobatic and dazzling Sailfish and elusive Short bill Spearfish abound in these crystal waters! Yellowfin tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, Barracuda, Kingfish (Trevally), King & Queen Mackerel, and lesser game fish such as Bonito tuna, Skipjack tuna, and Rainbow Runner provide endless hours of adrenalin-filled Game Fishing action out on the water! 

We will leave the Nungwi beaches and start fishing in deep waters (in order to try to catch larger fish). The boat will have breakfast including fruit and drinks. At the end of the cruise, they return to Nungwi.

After you step on board, the skilled crew on board take the dhow about 1km away from the shore by means of an engine, once out in the sea, the engine is shut off and during a tense moment the skillful crew put up the sail, once the sail is in favor of the wind, the guest can sit back, relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the ocean as you hear the ripple of water on the sides of the dhow as it glides swiftly through the clear turquoise water. The sounds of the bustle of busy people in Stone Town/Nungwi grow faint in the distance until they seem there, only in memory, as the dhow sail you will be served with sodas drinking water, and Zanzibar light snacks which will encourage you to sink back into the dhow bench and enjoy the romance of Zanzibar Island while the sun sets down with its beautiful orange colors Your breath will be taken away by the wonder of the fiery golden-sun setting beyond the horizon as it makes the sky a magical canvas of shades of pinks, purples, blues, and orange. As you head back for the stone town the wind gently blows into the Latin sail which is truly mesmerizing.

A taxi will take you from the hotel to the pristine beach on the East Coast Matemwa. We will travel for about 20 minutes only to the Mnemba, the rich nature reserve with fish and various diving sites where we will choose where to snorkel and in which sites, depending on what we want to see and for as long as the group feels like it. The boat will have fruit and cool, refreshing drinks.

Pick up from hotel/resort and transfer to the harbor/ airport for departure.
