Most famously, the park hosts the Great Migration, where massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing, following the seasonal rains.

The migration’s route changes throughout the year: from November to December, the herds move from the northern woodlands and hills to the lush southern grasslands. During the long rains from April to June, they return north, offering a dynamic, ever-changing safari experience.
