Serena Hotel Arusha is a perfect place to start your safari. It is located in the heart of Arusha, making it easy to access all the necessary supplies and services. The hotel is also surrounded by stunning scenery, providing you with a taste of what is to come on your safari.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at Serena Hotel Arusha, you will be picked up by your personal safari guide and transferred to Tarangire National Park for a Tanzania Premium Safari. Tarangire is well-known for its large elephant herds, and you will have the opportunity to see these amazing animals up close. You will also have the chance to see a variety of other animals, including zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, giraffes, and lions.

After a full day of game viewing, you will drive to  Gibb's Farm for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer from Karatu to Serengeti national Park

After breakfast, you will continue towards the fertile highlands where wheat and corn are grown by the Iraqw people. Along the way, you will pass through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you might be lucky enough to see baboons or even leopards and elephants in the dense undergrowth. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be able to see the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater before travelling onwards to the Serengeti National Park, which you will reach by midday. The Serengeti National Park is the largest park in Tanzania with diverse landscapes and habitats, such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah and mountains.

After an extensive game drive, you will drive to Lemala Nanyukie where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

You will spend a full day in the Serengeti National Park, exploring this incredible place and its animals. The Serengeti is home to an abundance of wildlife, including impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, but is most well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. The animals' trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. Apart from the migrating herds, you may also see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions. Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you will embark on a final game drive in the Serengeti National Park. This is your chance to see as many animals as possible before you leave this amazing place. You might see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many more. You will then drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for your Tanzania Premium Safari.

Arriving at the edge of the crater in the afternoon, you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day—glistening streams, open grassland, and an infinite number of animals. This is one of the most incredible places in Africa, and you are in for a treat!

You will spend the night at a nearby lodge on the Crater rim. This will give you the perfect opportunity to relax and reflect on your amazing day before your big adventure tomorrow.

Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest volcanic caldera and a Tanzania Premium Safari highlight. It is almost 20km wide, approximately 610 m deep, and is known for its large variety of wildlife. In addition to the Big Five, various springs attract animals such as wildebeest, gazelles, reedbucks, and more than 500 bird species.

At a picnic site, you will have lunch before enjoying some more game viewing in the crater. This is your chance to see some of the most incredible animals in Africa, up close and personal.
