1: Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park was established in 1952 and covers an area of 3893 km2. It is part of the Murchison Falls Conservation Area [MFCA], which includes Murchison Falls National Park, Buganda, and Karma Falls Game Reserve. Most Uganda safaris include a visit to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's oldest and largest national park.
Murchison Falls National Park offers spectacular views of massive waterfalls tumbling down into small slots 7 meters (23 feet) wide between the rocks, at the intersection of the Bunyoro Escarpment and the Acholi Plains. Also in the park by the Masindi-Gulu highway is the spectacular His Karuma Falls. The species of wild animals mainly include Elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, chimpanzees and more. The vegetation is generally savannah, woodland, and riverine forest.
2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Formally registered in 1991, the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southwestern Uganda and covers an area of 321 km2. The fog-covered forest is home to more than 400 mountain gorillas, which make up more than half of the world's remaining mountain gorilla population, and are the main attraction of the park. It is Bwindi has 11 familiar gorilla groups/families. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi is one of his most popular tourist activities, which makes Bwindi one of his top five travel destinations in Uganda. In addition to mountain gorillas, the park is home to approximately 120 species of mammals, 360 species of birds, 200 species of butterflies, and 324 species of trees, 10 of which are found only in Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a must on your itinerary. Besides the main highlight [gorilla chasing], there are many other activities you can participate in. 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Located in western Uganda, Queen Elizabeth National Park stretches along the Kasese, Bundibugyo, Rukungiri, Kamwenge and Busheni districts. Covering an area of 1978 km2, the park existed as the Loch Edward and Loch George Game Reserve in the 1920s and was later recognized as Kazinga National Park by the British Colonial Government in 1952. In 1954, the park was named Queen He Elizabeth National Park in memory of a visiting British monarch.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of Africa's most popular tourist destinations and Uganda's most visited national park. Commonly known as 'Miracle Mix', the park is an ideal habitat for big game, 10 species of primates and over 600 species of birds. The park offers spectacular views of the Rwenzori Mountains, Kazinga Strait, vast wetlands, the beauty of the open savannah around Lake George, and beautiful crater lakes. In addition to its remarkable wildlife attractions, Queen Elizabeth National Park also prides itself on its fascinating heritage and cultural history.
4: Kibale National Park

Listed in the Gazette in 1932, Kibale National Park is located in western Uganda and covers approximately 795 km2. The park is one of Africa's leading research centers on chimpanzees and other primates, ecosystems, wild boars and more. South of Kibale borders Queen Elizabeth National Park, forming a 180 km wildlife corridor from the Ishasha sector to the far south of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and north of Kibale is the Sevitri Forest, a series of landscapes.
Kibale, coupled with some of the most beautiful rainforest, is one of Africa's best safari destinations for tracking chimpanzees and other primates. The climate is pleasant all year round, with the wettest area being the north side of the park, with an average annual rainfall of about 1700 mm, especially from March to May and September to November.
Kibale National Park is home to rost monkeys, red colobus, black and white colobus, red-tailed macaques, blue monkeys, olive baboons, golden cats, red duikers, blue duikers, bush babies and a variety of other birds. Buffalo, leopards, and elephants are also present, as are many rare reptiles and butterflies.
