Uganda is one of the least explored countries in terms of safaris in East Africa. A safari to this beautiful country is a memorable and worthwhile visit. It hasn't have the highest peak like Kilimanjaro or the great migration like the Serengeti but it has something unique that is worth your time and money. Uganda is a virgin country well-undiscovered safari destination it has a lot to offer, from the rolling hills to the sparkling crater lakes, the abundance of wildlife to the endangered Mountain Gorillas, it is still authentically African, the lush green and home to truly friendly and beautiful African people.
Oretetti Safari Africa invites you to the sundry and engrossing Uganda. Allow us to help you to encounter the warmth of its people, its natural beauty, great scenery, and its wildlife including the endangered Mountain Gorillas, Chimpanzees, and other primates and explore roads less travelled and less explored.
Uganda lies on the equator, and that makes it have one of the best climates in the world. It is sunny and green all year round with two distinct rainy seasons stretching from March to May and September to November. However, rain can occur anytime. The temperature average is 27C with the highest being 31C in the Karamoja and Kasese regions and the lowest being 15C in Kabale. This makes Uganda a safari destination that can be visited all year round.
We plan safaris and tours that include gorilla safaris into Uganda, birding safaris, chimpanzee tours trekking safaris, wildlife safaris/game viewing tours, mountaineering safaris to Rwenzori Mountain and other guided Uganda tours. On our safaris, we care not only about your safety and security but also your needs and aspirations.
From the Mount Elgon National Park, near the border of Kenya on the East side to the Semuliki National Park on the west side of the country border with Congo, we will add the flavours of the Lake Mburo National Park, in Southern Uganda, this will then take us to the Northern part of the country where we will dissolve ourselves to the magic of Kidepo Valley National Park. The party is not yet started as we dissolve ourselves in the beauty of Rwenzori Mountains National Park, we will then move to Kibale National Park and find our to Queen Elizabeth National Park, then we start trekking Gorillas at Mgahinga Gorilla National park and then the party start at the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and that party end well with Murchison Falls National Park, the country's largest and arguably most iconic safari destination
