After breakfast, check out of the Quiet Haven Hotel and set off on a city tour of Kigali. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and learn about the country's tragic past. Pay your respects to the victims and reflect on the importance of peace and reconciliation.

VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK (Golden monkey trek & Culture)

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a golden monkey trek briefing. The golden monkey (Cercopithecus mitis kandti) is a local subspecies of the widespread Sykes monkey, also known as the "blue monkey." Golden monkeys are playful and inquisitive, and they often spend their time leaping from bamboo branches or frolicking on the forest floor. There are two habituated groups of golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park, one of which comprises around 80-100 members and has its home at the foot of Mount Sabyinyo.

After your golden monkey trek, enjoy lunch at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village. This village is a traditional rural Rwandan village that has existed for centuries living with and next to mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. During your visit, you will learn about the village's traditions and beliefs, enjoy traditional Rwandan dances and music, and sample local cuisine. You will also have the opportunity to visit the local healer and learn about traditional Rwandan medicine.

In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK (Gorilla trek & twin lakes)

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Gorilla trekking is an unforgettable experience that allows you to see these amazing creatures up close in their natural habitat. Rwanda is home to twelve habituated groups of mountain gorillas, and you will have the opportunity to spend one hour with one of these groups. After your gorilla trekking experience, return to your hotel for lunch and check-out. In the afternoon, visit the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera. These two lakes are located in the Virunga Mountains and offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. You can enjoy a boat ride on the lakes or simply relax on the shore and enjoy the scenery.

In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
