Kigali - Volcanoes National Park
After a wonderful breakfast, Our representative will pick you up from the hotel where you are staying in Kigali. After only 2 hours of driving, you will reach the lodge. The lodge has been built using environmentally friendly local materials such as bamboos made fitted by local community workmanship. We value the environment so much that we have been careful in the design and construction of the Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel to ensure that the environment is not harmed.

Gorilla Tracking
Today you will start early! From the lodge, you'll drive to the park about 30 minutes to the Office Rwandais du Tourisme et Des Parc Nationaux. The head ranger will divide you into groups based on interest and fitness. From here, your guide will take you as close as possible to the starting point of your tracking. Today you will track one of the habituated gorilla groups that can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day. The time taken to track the gorillas can take as little as half an hour to as much as 8 hrs!
Your track will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes, and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorillas’ current location. Your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests, and chewed bamboo shoots. Once the gorillas have been located, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a humbling and emotional experience

Return to Kigali - Walking Tour of Nyamirambo
After breakfast (inclusive), you'll drive back to Kigali. Our most popular offering, the walking tour begins at the Women’s Center with a traditional snack, a quick Kinyarwanda language lesson, and an introduction to the centre and its activities. It then weaves through Nyamirambo, one of Kigali’s oldest neighbourhoods. Along the way, guides lead participants into a women's hairdressing salon where the adventurous type can get a free braid. Then into a family compound to pound cassava leaves; by two mosques and a lookout view over Kigali; and into a tailor shop to feel the fabrics you'll otherwise see styled on the streets. The tour concludes with a traditional lunch made and served in the home of Aminatha, the best cook. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Kigali Serena.

Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge

Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game viewing. In this small, but beautiful park with dense forest, you can spot lots of monkeys, giraffes, elephants, impalas, hippos, and flamingos and if you are lucky, you may spot the rare tree-climbing lions. Apart from the animals, the contrasting landscape is stunning with the biggest diversity of habitats than the Serengeti National Park. For birders, this is your day over 425 species of birds have been recorded here with the highest number of raptors. Late in the afternoon, you'll drive to Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Manyara - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, take your packed lunch with you and we will set off towards Central Serengeti. Afterward, we'll visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world—Serengeti National Park. The word ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. Yet for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing. Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that brings them from Central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephants, giraffe, and buffalo. As the lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals stalk their meals, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch in this open arena. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Ole Serai Luxury Camp.

Serengeti National Park
The entire day is dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. This park is the oldest and most famous in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes—short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, and lakes. Bizarre rock formations called kopjes dot the grassy landscape where predators are often seen. The Serengeti is famous for the yearly migration when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water. Game viewing is good all year round with great sightings of lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, and giraffes. In the evening, drive to your camp at Ole Serai Luxury Camp.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will head out for another game drive in the Serengeti. You might be able to spot the “Big Five”—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—before embarking on your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. The animals roam freely through the unfenced reserves offering you an uninterrupted game viewing experience. Arriving at the edge of the crater, you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day—glistening streams, open grassland, and an infinite amount of animals. You will spend the night at a campsite directly on the crater’s edge with the orange glow of sunset surrounding you as you drift off to sleep. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After early breakfast at around 5:50 am, descend down the crater at 6:00 am for 6-7 hours of a game drive, with a picnic lunch. We will venture onto the crater floor for an up-close at the residents of this World Heritage Site. We'll also enjoy a picnic lunch here. The Ngorongoro Crater provides great game-viewing all year round. The wildlife here makes up a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha. Be dropped off at your accommodation in Arusha or straight to the airport. End of Service!
